Sharing from your vault
You can share any file or folder stored in SecureBin by generating a secure link. The recipient does not need a SecureBin account to view the shared content unless you require it.
- Navigate to the file or folder you want to share in your vault.
- Click the Share button (or right-click and select Share).
- Configure access settings — choose whether the link requires a password, set an expiry date, and limit the number of views if needed.
- Copy the generated link and send it to your recipient.
Access settings explained
Expiry date: The link automatically deactivates after the date you set. After expiry, the recipient will see a message that the link is no longer available.
View limit: Set a maximum number of times the link can be opened. Once the limit is reached, the link becomes inactive.
Password protection: Add an extra layer by requiring the recipient to enter a password before viewing the file.
Revoking access
You can revoke any shared link at any time from the Shared Links section in your vault. Revoking a link immediately prevents further access, even if the link hasn't expired yet.
